"We are delighted with the development of Colney Wood. Having served so many local families over the years as a Funeral Director, I have long recognised the need in Norfolk for other choices of burial facilities.
At Colney Wood, we are committed to providing a thoughtful and caring service to bereaved families and we believe our facilities are second to none."
Nick Taylor
Managing Director

"It is enormously rewarding to be able to help people at a time when they are so often distressed and upset. Our job is made easier, however, by the sheer beauty of the natural woodland, which brings comfort both at the time of the funeral and on private visits. Our facilities have been extended to include an elegant Gathering and Woodland Hall now available for services. We are open seven days a week and are always happy for visitors to share the beauty of our woodland."
Anne Beckett-Allen
Marketing Manager

"Much work has been done to improve the wood, some 2,000 new trees have been planted, including hawthorn, blackthorn, yew and holly. Existing tree species include oak, ash, beech, sweet chestnut, larch and scots pine, many of which are beginning to self-seed. There are also significant increases in wildflowers, birds and other wildlife. The visible regeneration of life clearly brings much comfort to our visitors."
Matthew Greaves
Senior Woodland Warden

"Visitors to Colney and families that I show around the woodland often say how nice it must be to work here. My response is always the same – yes, I consider myself very lucky. To work in this environment, which offers such a sense of calm, beauty, hope and healing; alongside a small and genuinely caring team of people is a privilege."
Linda Duggan
Office Manager
