Visitors to the burial park are welcome during the opening hours shown below. For directions, to make an appointment with one of our staff for a tour of the woodland or to book buggy transport, please telephone 01992 523863.
Please note that these times may vary according to the seasons, so it may be wise to check with us prior to visiting, especially if you will be travelling a long way.

Epping Forest Burial Park is easily accessible; the park is located just outside North Weald Bassett, close to the M11.
Approaching the park from the M11: exit at Junction 7 and take the A414 (Canes Lane), following the signs to North Weald Bassett. At the junction with the B181 (High Road) turn right and continue to North Weald Bassett where you will find Kiln Road second on your left after the Kings Head public house. The entrance to the Burial Park is past the railway bridge on the right-hand side of the road.
Approaching the park from the Chelmsford area: take the A414 signposted to Harlow. Continue on through Ongar until you reach the Talbot roundabout, with the B181 signposted to North Weald. Turn left onto the B181 and continue through the village. After passing the Kings Head public house on your left, cross the mini roundabout and Kiln Road is the next turning on the left. The entrance to the Burial Park is past the railway bridge on the right-hand side of the road.
Approaching the park from Epping: at the north end of the town, turn right at St. Margaret’s traffic lights onto the B181 (signposted to North Weald). Continue to North Weald, passing the golf course on your right. As you approach the mini roundabout, take the right hand turn just beforehand into Kiln Road. The entrance to the Burial Park is past the railway bridge on the right-hand side of the road.

Public Transport: The park is easily accessible by public transport. The nearest tube station is Epping, which is located at the end of the Central Line.
There is a taxi rank outside the station, or alternatively the 500 and 501 buses run at half-hourly intervals and will take you from the station into North Weald. Epping station is approximately 3 miles from the Burial Park.
Epping Forest Burial Park has a long driveway. Should you need collecting from the bottom of the driveway, please contact the office prior to your journey in order to make the necessary arrangements.
