Handled With Care 2010

The Handled with Care National Coffin Exhibition, held at Chiltern Woodland Burial Park on Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 July, showcased the vast array of coffins now available – from eco-friendly hand-crafted coffins through to traditional hardwoods and ‘picture’ coffins.

The unusual public event attracted interest from local and national media - footage from the exhibition can be seen on the BBC News website.

Hundreds of people took the opportunity to find out more about the huge range of coffins that can now be chosen, and the manufacturers all appreciated the opportunity to explain about their products to the public.

Following the success of the event – the first of its kind to be held in the South East of England – we are delighted to announce that Woodland Burial Parks will be hosting an annual public exhibition of coffins every July Handled With Care 2011 will form part of The London Funeral Exhibition, which will take place at Epping Forest Burial Park over the weekend of July 9th and 10th 2011.
