What We Offer

Mature Woodlands

Woodland at Chiltern Woodland Burial ParkOur burial parks are all set in mature woodland, home to a broad variety of wildlife and woodland plants, reinforcing the concept of the renewal of life. We are totally committed to maintaining the parks as areas of natural beauty and enhancing the biodiversity of the woodland.

Woodland is a much-loved part of the English countryside. Every season has its special moments - anyone who has visited Bluebell Woodland in the spring will not forget its beauty, and who can forget the thrill of kicking leaves and collecting conkers in the autumn?

Woodland has a natural cycle of life, and it is essential for mankind to flourish - throughout history, woodland has provided for our needs of shelter, fuel, food and implements. Today, in the 21st Century, we are realising more than ever what a crucial role our woodlands play - not only standing as places of natural beauty, but providing food and shelter for animals, protecting soils, and counteracting the effects of carbon in our atmosphere.

Up-to-date Facilities

All of our unique buildings are constructed with natural materials from sustainable sources. Designed with a reciprocal frame structure, the three public buildings at each park blend naturally into the woodland surroundings.

Reception at Chiltern Woodland Burial ParkEach of our parks have a Reception building where families can make arrangements in privacy with one of our highly trained staff.

In each park, our ceremonial buildings are available for funeral and memorial services. The Gathering Hall provides a warm and welcoming meeting place for family and friends both before and after the funeral. Refreshment and catering facilities are available, as well as ample cloakroom facilities.

The Gathering Hall

A circular courtyard with a living hazel wall in each park leads to the Woodland Hall. These stunning buildings have panoramic views out into the woodland, and are suitable for either religious or secular ceremonies. Flexible seating can accommodate up to 130 people, while loudspeaker facilities can broadcast a service into the courtyard and the Gathering Hall if larger numbers are attending. An organ is available if required, while a high quality audio system and excellent acoustics enable superb sound reproduction.

The Woodland HallAll of our buildings are fully accessible to people with disabilities..

Professional Staff

Our staff offer a highly personal and professional service and are willing to show you round the park and offer further information. If you would like to discuss the facilities and options available please call your chosen park to arrange an appointment.
